Most people who call us are already overheating, already stranded, or already told by somebody else that it is "probably the head gasket." Here is the order we work in.
Steam or no steam. Sweet smell or no smell. Does the heater blow cold at idle. Those three answers usually tell us whether you can drive it in or whether it needs a flatbed.
Before anything comes apart, the system goes on the tester at 15 psi and sits. A radiator seam that weeps only when hot will show itself here, and so will a heater core.

Every cooling job leaves with a road test to operating temperature and a second cap check. Same-day on most radiators if the part is in Orlando by 11am.

The name is not a metaphor: the business started doing radiator and cooling work almost exclusively, and general repair grew in around it because a customer whose radiator you replaced in June comes back in October wanting brakes. We never changed the filing, so the name still says what it said on day one.
